Are you an experienced IT professional ready to lead both local and international teams in a fast-paced, high-responsibility role? We are seeking a dynamic IT Infrastructure Manager to join our global team in Marlborough , MA. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping our global IT strategy while working closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and the Information Security (InfoSec) team to ensure that our infrastructure is both cutting-edge and secure.
In this role, you will oversee a team of talented IT systems engineers and administrators, guiding them through complex infrastructure and network management tasks across local and international platforms. As the IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining critical systems, driving cross-border projects, and ensuring seamless collaboration between our Northborough-based teams and remote international colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead IT teams of 5-6 members across Marlborough and international sites, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hybrid server infrastructure (virtual and physical), with a focus on high availability, performance, and security.
• Manage global network monitoring and troubleshooting, ensuring uninterrupted service and rapid incident response.
• Collaborate with the CISO and InfoSec team to implement robust security measures, ensuring that systems and networks meet or exceed industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate the implementation of server and network security measures across all locations, ensuring data protection and cybersecurity.
• Ensure compliance with security and audit standards, including SOC II, HIPAA, and HITECH, for high-availability environments.
• Lead the development of automated processes for system maintenance, monitoring, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Collaborate with international IT teams to ensure the integrity of global systems, including cloud platforms (AWS), virtual servers (VMware), and enterprise network infrastructure.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the CTO, corporate leadership, and IT teams, communicating strategies and solutions to drive organizational success.
• Provide expert technical guidance in areas like SAN storage, firewall configurations (Palo Alto/Fortinet), Office 365 administration, and server lifecycle management.
• Facilitate the integration of innovative technologies and best practices in cloud computing and security, ensuring the organization stays ahead of the curve.
• Manage vendor relationships and system licensing across all international and local environments.
Required Skills/Experience:
• 7+ years of relevant IT infrastructure experience, with a proven track record of managing global or cross-functional teams. References Required.
• Strong expertise in Windows and Linux servers, VMware virtualization, AWS cloud management, and network engineering principles (L2/L3 protocols, VPNs, NAT/PAT).
• Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain large-scale SAN storage (100TB+).
• Knowledge of security best practices, including firewall configurations, PKI encryption standards, and tamper protection tools (Sophos, etc.).
• Experience collaborating with InfoSec teams and managing infrastructure security measures in a regulated environment.
• Experience working in a healthcare or regulated environment (HIPAA, HITECH compliance is a plus).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a global setting.
Preferred Skills:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar cloud certifications.
• Experience with Office 365, Jira, and Confluence for team collaboration and project management.
• Microsoft MCSE certification.
• Experience in high-availability system management and disaster recovery.
