Position Title: Account Manager 

Reports to: VP Implementation and Customer Service 

Overview:

Account specialist is a player-coach, managing clients as well as supporting other members of the support and implementation team.

In managing accounts, s/he is an experienced professional whose mission is to provide the information necessary to improve medical care. The overriding goal is to see that Persivia’s Products are used by participating providers to the fullest extent possible. This motivated individual must be flexible in working and solving problems at varying levels (from the senior executives to implementers) across organizations and functional areas.

The Client Service program involves relationship management including, but not limited to, development, maintenance and monitoring of the Persivia-client relationship within the first year of the product implementation and beyond. This consists of training users, educating executives and engaging clinical users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage on-boarding of new customers using structured processes.

  • Perform ongoing client communications using structured processes.

  • Develop, manage, and execute annual Client Service plans.

  • Train new users on Persivia products, if required.

  • Demonstrate use of Persivia products.

  • Administer the client business relationship (e.g. receivables, renewals)

  • Introduce providers to other Persivia products in a compelling manner to improve sales.

  • Interact with and provide support for/guidance to other teams at Persivia, including Product Development, Support, Engineering, Implementation, etc.

  • Provide regular updates on client status, new or potential contracts, as well as contract renewals to executive team in a timely and organized manner

  • Perform other duties as assigned (e.g. Sales Support)

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Broad experience in health care delivery systems (clinical, quality or hospital experience greatly preferred).

  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent project management skills with strong leadership qualities.

  • Ability to work independently as well as a key team member.

  • Strong customer service understanding and orientation.

  • Ability to multi-task while managing several projects and delivering on time results.

  • Strong outcomes-based work ethic alongside a healthy sense of humor.

  • Minimum 2-4 years management experience in a clinical, hospital or professional services setting.

Position Title: Senior Software Developer – Persivia, Inc. (Marlborough, MA)

Multiple Openings:

Persivia is a Value Based Care (VBC) solution that allows healthcare payers and healthcare providers across the United States to manage multiple VBC models and diverse data streams to obtain a single patient record with data from multiple health information sources including claims, demographics and past coordinated care efforts. Our goal is to reduce the readmittance costs for released patients. We support ACO (Accountable Care Orgs), Public Health Surveillance, EHRs (Electronic Hospital records) and Medicare Advantage plans.

We are currently hiring for Senior Software developer positions whose job duties include:

  • Collaborating with the architects and the agile team to design, develop, and implement the software solutions.
  • Working with the product owners to understand and refine the functional requirements by participating in the backlog grooming sessions
  • Providing extensive code coverage by writing unit test case in JUnit
  • Conduct code reviews and provides constructive feedback to juniors.
  • Ensure Quality delivery to production and works with the support team to ensure successful release and operations.

Requirements:

A qualified candidate will have a Master’s degree (or a foreign equivalent degree) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field followed by two years experience in a Healthcare IT software setting implementing Quality Measures and Quality Indicators for Large Hospitals as a software engineer. The experience, which may have been gained concurrently, must have included at least two years with each of the following:

  • Implementing Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) specified eligible-hospital Quality Measures.
  • Utilizing HL7 v3 RIM model, specifically QRDAI and QRDAIII
  • Performing front-end and back-end development using JAVA Script, Java 8, JUnit, MONGO Database, Spring Framework, Hibernate ORM and RESTful services
  • Utilizing Groovy and Grails to write a Domain Specific Language (DSL).

This is a telecommuting position, and the worker may work from anywhere within the United States.

Position Title: Chief Technology Officer – Persivia, Inc. (Marlborough, MA)

The Chief Technology Officer will provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of the business, as it relates to the ongoing development and enhancement of our software. They will set the short- and long-term technology objectives of the company and will apply in-depth knowledge of the technologies used to run our software to direct our team of engineers, systems analysts, and data analysts to further design, develop, test, and implement our software for our clients to maximize its scalability, security, and resiliency. They will engage with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure that our company’s technologies are utilized appropriately. Specific duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the technical aspects of the Company’s technology strategy to ensure its alignment with the Company’s business goals.
  • Discovering and implementing new technologies that yield a competitive advantage for Persivia.
  • Ensuring that Persivia’s departments uses its technologies profitably.
  • Supervising Persivia’s system infrastructure to ensure maximum functionality and efficiency.
  • Establishing and implementing the Company’s quality assurance and data protection processes.
  • Monitoring KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.
  • Using stakeholders’ feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to the Company’s technology.
  • Communicating Persivia’s technology strategy to partners and investors.

A qualified candidate will have at a minimum a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related IT field and possess a minimum of four years of experience as an Systems Analyst, Engineer, or Solution Architect working for a software company serving the healthcare industry. The experience, which may have been gained concurrently, must have included:

  • Implementing HIPAA Security measures as part of a SOC II audit and obtaining a successful “passing” result.
  • Four (4) years of hands-on experience managing and handling IT systems administration duties including: building a server, creating and managing new environments, diagnosing server issues (using Oracle), and deploying new server set ups.
  • Four (4) years of experience building and managing products that support public health domain and ELR (Electronic Laboratory Report) systems, along with Healthcare Clinical reporting.
  • Two (2) years of experience utilizing Machine Learning AI (Artificial Intelligence) with a healthcare software company.

Position Title: Support Engineer

The Persivia (www.persivia.com) provides a single integrated AI driven platform which supports all VBC models and integrates data from all sources through the entire care continuum. It includes a variety of AI driven workflow tools and data integration capabilities to establish a complete view of the patient and populations and manage cost effectively. Persivia is seeking Support Engineer for our Application Support Development team to help our customer base as well as our development team.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Specifically in this role, The Support Engineer will:

  • Work directly with the development team and customer support team to understand their issues and needs, provide internal software support including development and support of internal tools, scripts and reports, partner with developers, evaluate and improve internal processes, and incorporate lessons learned to improve the application support process going forward.
  • Write scripts and internal tools, including implementing, maintaining, and improving scripts and internal tools developed by the company
  • Participate in continual improvement of the company s internal tools and processes involved in the Application Support process.
  • Provide System Administration support, including maintenance of Windows servers used in demo and QA environments and deployment of software builds for demo and QA.
  • Write and maintain documentation concerning the Application Support processes, internal tools and scripts, including training material.
  • Develop, maintain and monitor procedures for all server backups
  • Assist in supporting the corporate desktop computing environmentAssist in supporting the corporate desktop computing environment
  • Proactively monitor system performance, push alerts, and to provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports

The ideal candidate has:

  • Bachelor’s degree or significantly related experience in related discipline, required. Master’s degree, preferred.
  • Strong SQL programming skills, required

  • Knowledge with the following tools or technologies a plus: Jira, AWS, command-line/UNIX shell

Position Title: IT Systems Engineer

Persivia is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of corporate server, network and application infrastructure. Candidate must be local to Marlboro MA, able to come in a couple of times a week, as well as go to our Data Center in Somerville MA.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, maintain corporate server infrastructure (mixture of virtual and physical servers)
  • Monitor network to ensure high availability
  • Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by users.
  • Perform database management, maintenance and monitoring
  • Develop, maintain and monitor procedures for all server backups
  • Assist in supporting the corporate desktop computing environmentAssist in supporting the corporate desktop computing environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Assist with SOC II Audit
  • Set up new employees with laptop buildouts.

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent experience

  • Knowledge of relation databases (SQL Server); backups, SQL queries, etc.
  • Knowledge of core TCP/IP networking principles and key protocols.
