    Key Points from the Report

AI can be powerful and it can revolutionize the way you do business, but it is essential to be deliberate and selective in how you choose to use it, as it is possible to “do it wrong.”

Successful adoption of AI into a care management program will hinge on acceptance, trust and usability from internal and external stakeholders and their finding that it fits into their existing workflow without additional manual steps.

When determining where to use AI in care management, an important step is to assess, and be honest about, organizational maturity.

We’ve been using CareSpace® for over a year now. Last year we had about 35 % of patients engaged, and today we’re standing at 45 to 50 %, and in some cohorts, even 60 %. So I think that’s been a good win. The efficiency, I can’t quantify it, but I can tell you we haven’t grown our staffing. We have grown definitely our membership, but we’ve still been able to support it with the same amount of people. And then we’re seeing a little bit of results from disease management as well, similar to transitions of care, just higher engagement rates.
